Clearing a Space

Set up a clean work space on a non conductive material. If possible use an anti static mat such as seen here. This is in no way necessary but greatly reduces the chance of static harming the computer components. Simply ground your self often by toughing a large metal object, most computer cases will work well.
For tools all you will need is a standard head Phillips head square driver, preferably magnetic. The magnets in the head of a screwdriver will not be strong enough to damage any electronics. Other than that nothing else is absolutely needed but in no particular order here are some more helpful things to have around.
- a flashlight
- container for loose screws
- zipties for cable management
- another person to help with CPU cooler installation
